Yeah, that is correct, it was painted ;-). I'll publish somemore of these paintings and then reveal the secret.

PK - You are very close. It is actually built using pre-built loops. These are commercially available and I should say the easiest way to create music. I think even mainstream composers uses them a lot, maybe not to create a complete song, mmmm... not sure, as a listener do you care ?.

NV / Ajit - These loops are literally "painted" on a software sequencer. A loop is just a musical phrase which is normally one or two bars in length, but created in such a way that when "painted" in time, it creates a nice flow. Hope this helps.
